Textiles bags.
This semester in textiles we have been working on designing and creating bags. I made three drawstring bags, originally we were only meant to make one but I liked both of mine and wanted to give them to my cousins for Christmas so I made another bag for Family works.
Steps: I used the same steps for all of my bags.
- I cut out paper into the shape and size I wanted my bags to be.
- I used the template and cut my fabric.
- I used the overlocker on the edges of my fabric.
- I sewed my fabric together on three sides at the top sew it so there is a loop for the drawstring.
- add my drawstring and then tie it at the ends.

Melbourne trip- business studies
Today in business we were looking at budgeting a trip to Melbourne for 1 with a $1300 budget, here is what is spent and why.
1. Air NZ seat + bag, there and back. I did this because it's the cheapest option available with a bag and I didn't need a meal to go with it.
There- $180 Back- $249
2. Ticket- Front row = $109, Transport- bus $10, Food- Chips and drink $10, Merhcandise- Tshirt $ 30.
I got this stuff because it was cheaper without cutting myself off from everything just to stick under budget.
3- Menu 1 for 12 people = $183
I chose this because it was the cheapest option available and we still get food.
4- Hotel 1 = $160 for 2 nights = $320.
I chose this because hotel 1 included wifi and breakfast so even though each night was more expensive it included wifi and breakfast so it ended up being cheaper.
Total -$1101

Niuean Language Week + Tokelau Language Week - Music
100-word writing challenge for Niuean Language Week + Tokelau Language Week
This type of music makes me think of being in Fiji in the summer, the music reminds me of sitting outside with cultural music playing and while I know it's different it still reminds me of this. I can also picture the ocean being clear and the weather being sunny, the music just sounds happy and upbeat. Another image I can see is the beach during sunset when the sky starts to turn orange and pink, I feel like this kind of music would really suit the occasion, and that is what it makes me think of.

Business Studies- Promotion
- We have a slide on a big slide show that has our product, company name, and prices on it. Then on the day, we have a big poster with our name and products we have also been telling lost of people about it.
- We are aiming for teens to young adults, with the patterns they seem younger but the size of the face masks are for men, women, and teens. We are also selling really affordable products they range from $2-$4.
- We are just trying to get the word out, telling people about it, having posters, making sure its something people are actually going to want.
- The posters around the school are bright and colourful to attract the eye of our target audience ( young women/teens). The poster on the day will be at our table to make what we are doing obvious.
- OUrs focuses more on Price and Promotion, we have to prove that our products are good quality, affordable and just making sure that they are worth it.
