Antarctic Animals

WALT- To identify how animals can survive in Antarctica.
Before we decided what topic of Antarctica we wanted to do we went to the Antarctic Centre.  The last few weeks we have been learning about Antarctica. This is the work I've been doing it is about the animals in Antarctica. We hade lots of tasks to do along with some art about the animals. Mrs Jack gave us the instructions of how to do/make it. We watched lots of videos and read some articles about Antarctica.

My Rainy Day Art

Walt-We had to use crayon and dye to show movement and ripples in a weather feature.

First we had to use white crayon to create the rain drops. Next we had to use the rainbow colors if we wanted to have a rainbow. The last thing was to go to the dyeing table when the teacher called us up.  

My Penguin Art

Walt-To use paint to create the effect of feathers.

To paint this we had to do it step by step. The first step was to sketch it. The next step after that was to paint the black. The next step was the orange and yellow. The last and final step was to paint some white on the belly.
