Budgeting Guide

 Today in business studies we had to make a budgeting guide, this is my work.

Melbourne trip- business studies

 Today in business we were looking at budgeting a trip to Melbourne for 1 with a $1300 budget, here is what is spent and why.

1. Air NZ seat + bag, there and back. I did this because it's the cheapest option available with a bag and I didn't need a meal to go with it.

There- $180 Back- $249

2. Ticket- Front row = $109, Transport- bus $10, Food- Chips and drink $10,  Merhcandise- Tshirt $ 30.

I got this stuff because it was cheaper without cutting myself off from everything just to stick under budget.

3- Menu 1 for 12 people = $183

I chose this because it was the cheapest option available and we still get food.

4- Hotel 1 = $160 for 2 nights = $320.

I chose this because hotel 1 included wifi and breakfast so even though each night was more expensive it included wifi and breakfast so it ended up being cheaper.

Total -$1101

Budgeting Crossword- Business Studies

 Today in business we have been making crosswords to do with budgeting, we could also make a budgeting language dictionary but I decided to do a crossword. I used 10 words that relate to budgeting.

I used google for some of the answers today but I never used an actual website I just used a dictionary to make sure that I got all of my answers right. 

I think I got a lot of this right but it's very possible I have done something wrong. 

I struggled to find the definitions of some of the words even though we have been looking at them for the past week or more.

How did we decide what price to sell our product? 

As a group, We figured out the prices for our products by thinking about what we would be willing to pay for the products ourselves.

How will we ensure others the price you're asking for is worth it? 

Our products are 100% reusable. Not only are the prices responsible but there are also packs/deals to make people more interested in buying our products.

What price are other people selling for the same good?

Others are selling the products for the same price possibly more.

For business and enterprise this year my group (Mya, Chloe, Nykachia, and I)  are making packs with wheat bags, face masks, and instructions for the wheat bags. Wheat bags are good for the winter, all you need to do is put them in the microwave for 3-5 minutes and they will stay warm for up to an hour. We plan on having a pocket-size and medium-sized wheat bags. The pocket-size would be good for school so you can keep your hands warm on the cooler days and medium size would be good for home when you are going to bed or just being lazy. We aren't packaging these we will just have them out on a table that will mean it's not wasting extra unwanted fabric or materials. The materials we will be using are...

Fabric, elastic, wheat, and 100% cotton material.

These products do already exist but they are often highly-priced and, with COVID 19 you can never have too many masks. to keep yourself and the community safe from anything you might be carrying. It comes under sustainability as they are reusable masks which are good for the environment.
