Cyber bullying is a serious issue which can effect many people in different ways. Some people can become depressed and others may become anxious, some people who go through this may end up with eating and sleeping disorders this can be because people are bullied about their body image so by not eating the feel they will look better and it will stop and sleeping disorders can be because people stress about what is happening so they don't get much sleep as the over think all of it. But in worst case scenario is suicide which can be when people are just pushed and pushed until breaking point and they just can;t take it anymore.

For digital Technology we have been working on finding an issue and mine is about cyber bullying and the effects it can have. I have never been cyber bullied but people I know have been and this is where I got the idea for it. I decided that I would like to know why people do it and what it can to the victims.

My Idea is to create an app where there is a scenario and people have to choose what to do and/or say in the moment and what effects it can have or whether its right or wrong if people have chosen maybe 5 wrong answers it will tell them what they should do in the future so they don't make these mistakes in real life when its really happening.

What is Tapu Ae?

This is a game similar to netball. The aim of the game is to knock the tennis balls off the cone. 

What are some of the basic rules?

1. Only take 2 steps when you have the ball.
2. You can hit the ball out of your opponent's hand.
3. Stay on your third of the court.
4. You can only throw between each third.

What is some of the Te Reo Maori language that we talked about?

Tupu, Ki, Pawero, Papa, Takaro

What was your role in your team for these games?

Officer- Help people figure out what they are doing and where to do it.

What did you enjoy most about the game?

I enjoyed getting to run after the ball and trying to gt it away from other players.

What were some drawbacks that I can think of?

Some of our players didn't share the ball very much and we also didn't spread out very well all of the time.

What could my team do better next time we play?

We could communicate better and share the ball around more and maybe have more sub rotations.

100 Word Challenge

This is my 100 word challenge for this we had to have 100 words no more no less. Mine is about something kind of naughty my best friend and I did. We had to include the phrase Looking back I remember. Then we had to make sure we definitely had 100 words if not we had to add or remove some words.

Looking back I remember,

On my first year of primary school, during interval, I remember going to the bathroom with my best friend Erika and pouring soap all over the floor and taking off our shoes. We skated up and down in our socks for ages even through to class time. As time went on, obviously it was slippery we fell over a lot so  when we finally came back to class our teacher wondered what happened so we told her, but we weren't in trouble, we didn’t even have to clean it. We did, however, make our teacher laugh.
