FLIGHT
Aim: To learn about flight and aerodynamics.
- In your groups of 3 you will make a paper plane and measure its distance and behaviour.
- In groups of 3 you will make a water rocket and record its distance and behaviour.
Flight is a movement where something is moving above ground around for a long time.
4 forces of flight:
- Gravity
- Thrust
- lift
- Drag
Paper Plane:
Material:
1. paper

Findings:
Plane Type

Distance
|
Behaviour
| ||||
Normal
| 3.2 metres | It flew fine for the first 2.5 metres then it landed in the sink. | ||||
Ailerons
|
|
| ||||
Rudder
| 1.7 metres | because of the flaps the plane turned around. |
Conclusion:
I think our plane test didn't work well because everytime we threw it it either landed in the sink or right beside it.
