Walt-To learn as many strategies as we can.

These are my math strategies that I've learnt during maths this term. I know them quit well now that I've been practicing them. This slide has some videos of me doing my maths as well. My maths teacher Mr Breach thought me how to do them.

Two Digit Addition

This is some maths that we did today with Mr Maddren . We hade to use addition and some cyber smart keys.

Antarctic Animals

WALT- To identify how animals can survive in Antarctica.
Before we decided what topic of Antarctica we wanted to do we went to the Antarctic Centre.  The last few weeks we have been learning about Antarctica. This is the work I've been doing it is about the animals in Antarctica. We hade lots of tasks to do along with some art about the animals. Mrs Jack gave us the instructions of how to do/make it. We watched lots of videos and read some articles about Antarctica.

Fixed And Growth MIndset

During power time we have been learning about growth and fixed mindset. We watched a short movie about Luke sky walker and Yoda lifting a X-wing cut off the lake Luke have a Fixed mindset A Fixed mindset is where you give up easily and dont really try. The Yoda thought him how to have a Growth mindset. A Growth mindset is were you give things a proper go and you do try. We talked about what we could say to ourselves to change from a Fixed mindset to a Growth mindset.

My Rainy Day Art

Walt-We had to use crayon and dye to show movement and ripples in a weather feature.

First we had to use white crayon to create the rain drops. Next we had to use the rainbow colors if we wanted to have a rainbow. The last thing was to go to the dyeing table when the teacher called us up.  

My Penguin Art

Walt-To use paint to create the effect of feathers.

To paint this we had to do it step by step. The first step was to sketch it. The next step after that was to paint the black. The next step was the orange and yellow. The last and final step was to paint some white on the belly.

Reflective Symetry

In Maths we have been learning about Symmetry. Reflective symmetry is where what ever image or shapes you have are the exact same size on either side. We played "The Mirror Game" and used shapes to create Reflective Symmetry.

Antarctica Description

This Is my description writing that I've done today it is about Antarctica. We Have been learning how to do a description.

Wow, It's just like a freezing humongous white marshmallow. Antarctica is the coldest continent in earth.

Antarctica has lots of different amazing kinds of wildlife, like Whales, Seals, Penguins etc. They mainly eat each other in the food chain.

Antarctica´s snow and Ice never melts even when it's summer! In Winter it is dark twenty four seven but in summer it is never dark.  Underneath of Antarctica there is a normal land.

Antarctica is at the bottom of the world. It is larger than Australia and Europe. Antarctica is the windiest place in the whole wide world.

Antarctica has just got the most amazing weather ever possible.
