In Flanders Feilds

For this task we had to read a poem called Flanders Feilds, Then write how it made me feel, If i liked it or not and what I think of it

In Flanders fields the poppies blow

Between the crosses, row on row,

    That mark our place; and in the sky

    The larks, still bravely singing, fly

Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago

We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,

    Loved and were loved, and now we lie,

        In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:

To you from failing hands we throw

    The torch; be yours to hold it high.

    If ye break faith with us who die

We shall not sleep, though poppies grow

        In Flanders fields.

I think this poem is very sweet and it makes me think of the victims that died by defending our country. It makes me feel sad for everyone who didn't make it back but grateful that they defended our country. I did like it very much.

The Right To Vote

For this task I have to write what I think about the fact that women were not allowed to vote in Saudi Arabia until 2015. weather it is fair? Why or why not?

Personally I think it is not fair because its not your fault that you are a women. I also think that women have as much of a say in anything as men. You should not base votes off gender because it isn't your choice as to what gender you are. I think women are just as capable as men.

Milan Cathedral

For this task we had to find a famous cathedral then write  the name of the cathedral, where the cathedral is located, when it was built, and how long it took to build.

The name of this cathedral is Milan Cathedral

It is located in Piazza del Duomo, 20122 Milano MI, Italy

It was built in 1386 and it took 6 centuries to complete. Thousands of workers over those years contributed.

Waka Ama

For this task we had to watch a short video. Then write why or why not we would like to compete in a waka race.



I would not like to compete in a Waka race because I don't like the sea or being on a boat of any sort.

Setting Sail

For this task I have to write a letter to a friend about what I would feel if I went away to another country.


Dear friend,
I am going to moving away. I am travelling by waka and I hope i survive.
I'm feeling extremely scared yet exited to take the next step of my life and seeing were it leads me .
It has been a long and scary trip. wish me luck.

Maui And The Giant Fish

The task for this post was to read Maui and the giant fish and then write at least three facts about Maui.

1. Even though his brothers didn't believe in him. Maui believed in himself and knew, he could catch a fish.

2. Maui had bravery to sneak on the boat without knowing what his brothers could do to him.

3. Maui became a hero to the town he lived in because he caught a giant fish.

4. His brothers were bully's to him but he had the courage to stand up for himself.
