Greedy

This is my Greedy predicting writing that I wrote this week. Its a made up story but we could write any kind we wanted. WALT- To include as many language features as possible.

Mmm are those cherries I smell? …  I´d better run to find them luckily all my friends and family are asleep I shall try to run now well I can. I shall bring them back for my family if I can find them that is.  Boy am I hungry, I can't wait to find them and give them to my family for breakfast.

I smell them coming from the left so I´d better turn left soon, Iḿ almost there I swear. I'm there YAY! There they are, and there in a bucket so i'll have to go get my best friend  Luke to come I'll squeek for him and he'll come squeeeeek!  Heś here ¨come here over here¨ Hey look at these cherries they smell delicious I was hoping we could share them and bring them to our family to share for breakfast. I said ¨Yeah as long as we can each have one now¨ Luke said ¨Yes of course im soo hungry¨ As we pick them up we realize we probably have about half an hour left before our family wakes up. ¨oh no¨ I said. We have to turn left to get home and then just walk straight.

¨let's go¨ says Luke. ¨Family, Family look what we found¨  ¨WOW¨ everyone says and we all start digging in. ¨Mmmmmm thats so good¨ everyone says. ¨But were sooo full¨

Wind Poem

I wrote this poem because It was my topic for the last term. I got some of the Ideas from a poem I did a couple of years ago. My friends help me decorate the background. The poem is about wind and how it moves. I enjoyed making my poem.

Interland

Today Mr Maddren came in to help us learn how to be cyber smart. So we made a screen castify about a google game called Interlard. It has four game options I chose kind kingdom. We had to use the arrow keys and space bar to move our character around to collect hearts and give them away to make people happy. There are speaker phones are what help you report the bully. My Weather Litracy

The past 3 weeks we have been learning about weather, We have read a couple of books about severe weather and we also read some online articles about it too. This is my DLO about Wind, The first thing we had to do was research about our chosen weather feature, then we had to create the DLO about it, the last and final step was to publish to our blog.




This is my Thinglink that I made during literacy time. It is about some of the different weather features you can find. My picked weather feature is wind but I also made this just because I wanted too.

This is my thinglink about my chosen weather feature I chose to do wind because it sounded the most in interesting to learn about. I have 

some facts that I already knew and some that I learnt while researching on this.

Wind Information Report

The last 2 weeks we have been learning about weather, I choose to learn about wind because wind Interests me more than any other weather feature. I learnt that you cant see wind and that weather changes minute by minute.

Whistling Wind

Gee its getting pretty breezy around lately. Wind is large bursts of air moving, you can not see but you can usually feel.

Wind can come when it’s warm or cold. Wind can also be warm or cold depending on the direction it’s coming from.  For example you could have warm wind to begin the day but cold wind to end the day. Or you could have wind at the start of the day and none at the end. Here in Christchurch you get cold wind from the east side and warm wind from the west.

Wind is caused by different air pressures. So in the northern hemisphere, winds blow clockwise around an area of high pressure, and anti-clockwise around low pressure.

Different wind speeds have some different names for example you could have a breeze or gale!  

I personally hate cold wind but don't mind warm wind so much, but I would definitely rather have no wind than warm wind.
