My Beautiful Dragon Writing

I was walking down by the river and saw some smoke I was confused I had absolutely no idea what It was or could be so I looked down and stared at the little tiny dragon I was shocked I didn't know that this could even be a thing. So I continue looking at this magnificent creature I wondered, how did it get here? Are there more? How big will he get? And will it hurt me? How could I find this all out? It has greeny grey wings and beautiful I must add. I decided not to tell anyone in case it got taken off of me and I would never see it again. That night I got no sleep what so ever just looking at my new creature I was frightened to go to sleep in case it would get bigger. The next morning I got up I took him to school with me and left in bag At the end of school I went to look for him he wasn't in my bag then I realized I was holding him I had been itchy during class but did not realize it would be him. I was wondering how many people saw him. Or if he could go invizable who knows?

Looking Forward To Autum

     Looking Forward To Autumn

I can’t wait to smell the fresh bright green grass.

I can’t wait to taste the warm hot chocolate bubbling in my mouth.

I can’t wait to see the red orange and brown leaves flutter down from the trees.

Here comes Autumn

I can’t wait to feel the leaves hit my face in a leaf fight.

I can’t wait to hear the leaves crunch under my wet feet.

Here comes Autumn.

That Was Summer Poem

last week in writing we learnt about adjectives. We wrote a summer poem that had lots of wow words in it.

That Was Summer!

I remember smelling chlorine in the warm swimming pool.

I remember tasting yummy  juicy ice blocks.

I remember seeing some sappy green trees.

That was summer

I remember feeling the warm wind push me around.

I remember hearing the beautiful birds chirping.

That was summer.

Spencer Park

The learning that I did while writing this was to use commas after each name if there is more than two names.

On Friday I had the most fun on a school trip I've ever had we went to Spencer Park. The people that came were the year 4-6 learning community. We went because we needed to have some time to learn about the teachers and other kids in different places other than school.

Firstly we went in the bus to get there which was fun because I got to play hand games with Paige. Then when we had to get out of the bus my hat was knotted on the handlebars which was really annoying.

Then we arrived and had morning tea. I sat with Paige, Erika, Hayley, Emily and Phoebe. I ate some chips and an apple for my morning tea. While we ate we had a meeting about what we were going to do after morning tea.Screenshot 2017-03-14 at 11.37.31 AM.png

After that we went to play on the playground Paige and I went and played on the swings and climbing rope. We saw Erika playing by herself so we played with her. Because we went there last year, we wanted to do the same things as last year our favourite thing was the flying foxes so we did that first.

Next we went to the beach and got into groups to make the tallest tower, in my group was Erika, Levi K, Levi C and Jovarn. Our group didn't come close to winning but it was really fun anyway. Screenshot 2017-03-14 at 11.38.01 AM.png

Then we went back on the playground and got to play volleyball and tennis as well. Paige, Erika and I played in the climbing rope and spider web for a little bit and then got bored of it. So we decided to go take some photos on the i pads.

My favourite part of the school trip was playing at the beach because the sand was nice and cold on my really hot feet.
