I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 9 and in 2021 I will be a year 10. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.
For this task we had to watch a short video. Then write why or why not we would like to compete in a waka race. I would not like to compete in a Waka race because I don't like the sea or being on a boat of any sort.
Jade F here from the Summer Learning Journey! That is a fair answer you made about participating in waka ama, some people just prefer to stay on the ground which is a fair enough answer. I personally am a water person and I absolutely love water sports, I participated in a sport in school called dragon boating which is quite similar to waka ama and I really enjoyed it. What kind of sports do you like to participate in? Let me know in a comment! :)
