Climate Change Issues - Science

Aim: To learn about the different emissions of climate change.

Factories: By making clothes, cars, electronics and processed foods creates alot of pollution. When materials such as plastic, cardboard, metal and cement are made harm full gases are released into the air and water.

Cows:
Cows create a greenhouse gas called methane when they burp. Methane is a greenhouse gas that is 25 times more powerful than carbon dioxide.

Electricity: Can come from renewable sources and a non renewable sources like fossil fuels and they release CO2 into the atmosphere.

Food: We need food to survive but in order for us to get some of it it has to be shipped and when it is shipped over gases from transportation such and planes trains and trucks release carbon dioxide into the air.

Land fill: Our landfills are growing and using up more healthy land. When waste breaks down in landfills, greenhouse gases are created including methane and carbon dioxide.

Transportation: Most cars need gas or diesel to work these come from oil which is a fossil fuel the carbon dioxide from the oil goes into the atmosphere goes into the air when the car is running.
